Violation/Non-compliance Management

Challenge Summary

The current process of enforcing compliance workplace and factory guidelines at onsite locations is manual and tedious. We are looking for an automated and intelligent solution to enforce all the guidelines along with inspection and registering the non-compliance cases.

Challenge Scenario

Production levels in mines and other exploratory areas have gone up in the recent past and this leads to increased movement of vehicles and other machinery used for these activities. Currently, when a traffic violation is captured through ANPR & Speed monitoring cameras, manpower is drawn from the nearby post rendering it vacant and vulnerable until the violation is processed completely.

In cases of violations inside plant premises, they are caught manually or by speed guns held by security personnel. This leads often leads to misunderstanding and chaos between violators and the enforcers. Post confirmation, the mails for deducting fines are then sent manually to the violators. More often than not, the whole process carried out manually takes up to 4 hours for completion, during which the posts of the security personnel are left unguarded.

Another important kind of violation is the inebriated entry into premises by contract employees and other individuals. A breath analyzer is currently implemented at certain checkpoints. The actual need is of a large scale scanning methodology enabled by tech to assess the operational capabilities of all entrants. Also, at present 100% alcohol level checking is not implemented due to manpower constraints as there are more than 1000 entries in a given shift. Due to the COVID-19 regulations, these processes are not carried out to their fullest fearing infection.

  • Alcohol consumption detection:
    Breath analyzer to be integrated with Biometric systems used for entry.
    1. Manpower entry in biometric machines
    2. Person will blow air in integrated B/A after finger authorization. A result will initiate Turnstile Locking & unlocking
    3. If positive turnstile will not allow and trigger non-compliance e-mail. Negative Result will unlock turnstile and allow the person inside.

  • The proposed systems to be easily usable by security teams around the clock. Technological vehicles such as intense machinery to be exempted and focused on civilian vehicles used for movement within the plants/mines.

  • Round the clock service/support for the devices used for testing.
