A system to provide prescriptive analysis and all-around data available on various parameters in a business unit to assist the senior management in initiating data-driven decisions to complex problems making operating procedures simpler, faster and safer.

Challenge Scenario

A business unit consists of complex systems and any decision made should take into consideration all factors such as asset reliability, asset integrity, environment friendliness, distribution networks, customer feedbacks, skills and competencies of the team, industrial benchmarks at all situations. Currently, this process is done through collecting data from each managing heads of within the BU and decisions are to be made to fix Business and Technical KPI's, which as a whole contains human biases and errors.

  • Solicit insights and recommendations on available data on asset reliability, asset integrity, environmental friendliness, distribution networks, customer feedbacks, skills and competencies of the team, industrial benchmarks

  • Perform data modelling using ML algorithms leveraging the available Big data on Supply Chain, Customer Complaints, Commodity TAT, Asset Integrity, Asset reliability, Carbon Footprints etc of the particular Business Unit and its affiliates
  • Suggest actionable plans to problems based on previous learnings and decisions for new and upcoming ones

Operational constraints

  • The visualisation and prediction dashboard must be integrated seamlessly to the existing SAP systems and the pre-existing data need to be integrated/migrated seamlessly onto the new platform
  • Any additional points of data extraction on top of the existing ones to be advised by the platform provider to ensure a holistic decision-making process. This could mean addition of sensors in new areas of collection, usage of new applications to log activities by various stakeholders etc.
